Kevin C. Quin is a PhD student in Africana Studies at Cornell University, where he is also pursuing a graduate minor in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Studies. His research interests include 20 th century African American and LGBT history, political imagination, cultural production, and transnationalism.
