Emerald Rutledge

Emerald Rutledge is a PhD student and Graduate School Fellow in the Afro-American Studies department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research interests include 20th century African American Literature, Black feminisms, and Black queer theory with a special focus on mid-late 20th century Black gay and lesbian literature.
